The insulation material of voltage transformers has excellent arc, ozone and ultraviolet protection characteristics, while it has high mechanical strength, so that the transformers can work for more than 30 years without any maintenance.
A feature of these transformers is the presence of fuses in the design to protect transformers from high currents. The fuses can be positioned vertically, in which case the marking will be DNT SOV, or horizontally, in which case the marking will be DNT SOH.
