Measuring current transformers SMTSM (hereinafter referred to as transformers) are designed to transmit measurement information signals to measuring instruments, protection devices, automation, signaling and control in AC networks with a frequency of 50 or 60 Hz.

The current transformers have a cast housing made of epoxy compound by injection molding.

The insulation material of the current transformers has excellent arc, ozone and UV protection characteristics, while having high mechanical strength. The creepage distance and discharge distance of SMTSM current transformers are designed for high levels of air pollution.
